We've come to the end of the three part series of 'Sikh-Punjabi Weddings...explained', in collaboration with Secret Wedding Blog.
The Anand Kaaraj (ceremony of Bliss) or a 'Sikh Wedding' takes place in a Gurudwara (a Sikh place of worship), with the couple taking four rounds of the Sikh scripture, Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Upon the fourth round, their blessed union is complete. But some Punjabi cultural practices are still observed in the faith-based ceremony.
